Boys Reading Club

The Boy’s Reading Club was designed by Laurier Student’s for Literacy (LSFL) as a way to acknowledge and remedy the growing gender gap in literacy. The Boy’s Reading Club is geared towards elementary school boys and helping them with all elements of literacy. As a committee LSFL volunteers will come together every other Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:00pm in order to form the Boys Reading Club. By incorporating superheroes, action figures, and comic books the Boys Reading Club promotes getting boys involved in reading, writing, and fun. Every other week there will be a new: theme, activity, and occasionally a special event.
The Boys Reading Club meets at the Wilfrid Laurier University Brantford Campus, Student’s Centre 103 Darling Street, in  the multi-purpose room located in the basement of the building.
